About Our Staff


















Dr. Burton, Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Yalonda Burton grew up in Stilwell.  She graduate from Zion Elementary School and Stilwell High School.  In 1993, she went to Oklahoma State University and graduated in May of 2000 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.  She opened Patterson Animal Hospital only a few weeks later and the hospital has grown ever since.  She loves caring for animals and watching the changes they can make in people's lives.  Dr. Burton is a member of the Oklahoma Veterinary Medicine Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Stilwell Church of Christ, American Boer Goat Association, and American Haflinger Registry.  She is also a District 2 Director for the OVMA.  Dr. Burton is married to Dean, and has 4 girls, their twins, Makatlyn and Makenzie, Trinidy Grace and Brianna.  She enjoys spending her extra time with her family, her horses, scrapbooking and her goats

 
















Amanda Fourkiller, Receptionist

Amanda began working with us in the summer of 2011 after being a long time client.  She is married to Justin and shares her house with a cocker, Pandy, and a rescue, Dan.  Amanda only made it a couple of weeks here before adopting her first rescue.


 

















Jennifer Patterson, RVT/Team Leader

Jennifer moved to Stilwell in 2002 after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelors degree in Animal Science.  She was an active member of the OSU Equestrian Team in Hunt Seat Competitions.  Jenn began her career at Patterson Animal Hospital in August of 2007 after spending several summers during college helping out.  She graduated as a registered veterinary techinician in the spring of 2011.  Jennifer is married to Clay and they have 3 boys, Hagen, Jonah and Sam.  She enjoys riding and spending time with family and friends.
































Debbie Dandridge,
Veterinary Assistant

Deb was born and raised in Adair County. She helped her parents with the family dairy until 2004 when she began managing the operation on her own. Deb began working at Patterson Animal Hospital in February 2006. Deb is married to Dusty and they have one son, Jayce. She enjoys riding, hunting and fishing.







Naileth Suarez-Perez
, Veterinary Assistant

Naileth is a Venezuelan/Canadian that came to Oklahoma in 2004.  She is trilingual in Spanish, French, and English.  Naileth graduated from Tahlequah High School in  2009 and studied for a year and a half at Northeastern State University.  She completed the Veterinary Assistant program at ICTC in Stilwell, OK in the summer of 2010.  She hopes to continue her education and enroll in the Veterinary Technician program in the near future.  Naileth began working for Patterson Animal Hospital in the summer of 2011 after completing her internship with us in 2010.  She has two dogs, Samy and Bruno, and a cat, Chester.  Naileth enjoys  spending time with her family and friends, drawing, and photography.

Darrylyn Mathews, Animal Caretaker

Darrylyn started working for  Patterson Animal Hospital in August of 2010.  She graduated from Tahlequah High School in 2007 and is currently pursuing a degree in special education at NSU.  Her hobbies are playing sports, reading, and spending time with friends, family and her animals.




Jennifer Allcorn, Groomer

Jennifer moved to Stilwell in 2004. She retired from the funeral industry and has spent time in veterinary clinics before coming to Patterson Animal Hospital. She began grooming for us in May 2008. She has been married to Drew since 2004 and they share their home with Helen, an anatolian shephard. She enjoys reading and movies and spending time with all the animals.

Debbie Cornsilk, Groomer

Debbie began grooming with us in mid 2010.  She has been a groomer for over 25 years.  She enjoys showing Black and Tan Coonhounds.

Becoming part of Patterson Animal Hospital is a rewarding and challenging career.  We have weekly staff meeting from 1-3pm on Thursday at which time our office is closed.  We use this time to update ourselves on information on products and patients that can make our team more prepared to serve our clients.  Our staff is the most important part of our service.  Without knowledgable and properly trained staff, we would not be able to provide the exceptional level of care we do.  Some exciting qualifications of our staff are:
